Need a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Online?

Continuing education is a huge step to take in life.  We all know it is…so why do so many of us stop short of completing our dreams of completing a Bachelors or Masters?  As worship leaders, there is a greater emphasis being placed by churches these days on hiring worship pastors and worship leaders with a degree in Worship Arts.  The cost, however, in obtaining a degree is enough to keep most away from seeking a degree.  So what is a person to do?

What would you say if I were to tell you that you could get a Bachelors degree for $1,250 dollars, a Masters for only $1,000 or even a Doctorate for a grand…and get them all 100% online in the comfort of your own home?  What would you say if I also told you that the degree came from an Accredited university that has also been endorsed by Worship Leader Magazine?  It isn’t fiction…it is reality.

The university is West Coast Bible College & Seminary and I am proud to say that I am currently enrolled in seminary there.  I’d love to take you along with me through my journey.  In addition to degrees in Worship Arts or Worship Studies, you can also enroll in other areas of ministry for the same prices:

  • Biblical Counselling
  • Church Business Administration
  • General Ministries
  • Religious Education
  • Worship Arts
  • Worship Studies

I can personally attest to the ease of interaction with the staff and faculty.  The course work is delivered via internet and without having to download additional software.  I simply do the course reading, watch lectures at my leisure, do written work, take tests online, and have my grades logged.

Do me a personal favor…if you have procrastinated about getting your degree…whether it is a bachelors or masters – stop procrastinating and take charge of your future today.  Find out more information by clicking on the link below.  Make sure to tell them that sent you!

Hey Jason, thanks for this post about West Coast Bible College. We’ve actually been looking into this college for our daughter who has been called to be a worship leader. She is trying to find an online college to get a degree but wants to really focus on worship and not just take traditional courses that don’t apply to/interest her just to get a degree. I see you posted this in June. Do you have an update? How has your experience with West Coast been? Would you still recommend it? We have tried to call the college twice for information and both times have had a less than stellar experience with the person answering the phone. It gives us a little “pause” in wondering if this is how the entire experience will be. Any help/advice you can offer would be appreciated. God bless!

I read your comments and I’m personally concerned because we’ve always received rave remarks regarding our customer service and this was actually the first potentially negative thing we’ve read about WCBCS from anyone who had a direct experience with us! We are constantly working to give our students and fellow Christ-followers a very positive experience with education and WCBCS.

If you would, please contact me directly at [email protected] and I would be happy to address your questions. If I can be of assistance, please let me know.

I realize that I responded to you via email but didn’t realize that you had also left a comment here on the site. For my lateness in replying to the post here.

Yes, I would still absolutely recommend WCBCS. I am going through the course work at my own pace and I have the resources of the staff and educators at WCBCS who have yet to fail to answer a question that I have had along the way. Dr. Harrison has been a great source of help to me during this process and I look forward to the day of being able to report back to you that I have my Bachelors and then Masters in Worship from WCBCS.

I wholeheartedly believe in the model they have for education. I can attest personally that it will be a minimal amount of money well spent!

      Serving with you,

I know this post is VERY old at this point, but I’m hoping you’ll se this and can help me. I am currently a full time worship pastor, and for the past 18 months I’ve been working on my bachelor’s degree from Moody Bible Institute. My question is about WCBCS. Did you ever finish your degree, and would you still recommend the school? Have you ever received any attitudes that seemed to be questioning the legitimacy of your education since it was not obtained from an “accredited” Christian college or seminary? Your answers would be EXTREMELY helpful for me. Thanks!

      Joe and Jennifer,

Thanks for the questions. Yes – I did in fact finish my degree. I am looking next to pursue my Masters while my son is now enrolled in West Coast. There is MUCH value in the education there.

As far as the accreditation – let me answer that in the face value that you asked it at. “No”. Simply put…I have never had anyone question the legitimacy of the college. There is likely a good reason for that: most places care that you have a degree…not the “where” of it. There is a greater reason for it, however….West Coast DOES posses accreditation and they are actively pursuing further accreditation as well.

I am a HUGE advocate for the college. I would still…to this date…HIGHLY recommend it!
