Celebrate the “Only King Forever” With The Only Album You Need To Purchase This Month

In their third release, Elevation Worship has landed what must simply be called the best worship album in this decade. Filled to the brim with 14 anthems, reflections, and songs ripe with rich lyrics of praise, Only King Forever is the only album worship leaders need to dip into for inspiration for their teams for the foreseeable future.

Songs from the album are already reaching up the CCLI charts – and with songs such as “Only King Forever,” “Grace So Glorious,” “Raised To Life,” and “Last Word”, there is no question why. Darlene Zschech makes an appearance on another standout on the album “The Love Of Jesus.”

As it turns out, Lead Pastor at Elevation Steven Furtick is not only a great pastor and author…but he is also a great co-writer for songs as is witness in songs like “Last Word”. The chorus serves as a great reminder of a Savior who truly has the last word in the battle.

You have the last word
It is finished
You have the last word
It is finished
My fear is silenced in your love
My hope is endless

Perhaps our favorite song on the album comes at the very end. In a culture that is starved for calls to worship comes a song cowritten by Steven Furtick, Matt Redman, Chris Brown, and Mack Brown called “Raised To Life”. It is simple – yet precious in its words and the perfect heartfelt call to worship for today’s culture. I’d recomend it be instantly added to your church today.

All the songs on the album are easily teachable in the congregation. Songs such as “Glory Is Yours” are repetitive enough to be easily retained yet high enough in energy to keep the listener captivated. Musicians will appreciate the content relevant to today’s scene – a departure from the cut and paste mold of the genre.
